FAITH AND FELLOWSHIP IN RUGURU NGANDORI: A DAY OF WORSHIP AND HOMECOMING

Ruguru Ngandori Ward, Embu County – The faithful gathered in reverence and joy this Sunday for a spiritually uplifting service at ACK Emmanuel Kigari, graced by the presence of Rev. Moses Muriithi, who presided over the day’s worship with a message centered on God’s unwavering goodness.
Drawing from the powerful scripture, “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” – Psalm 34:8, Rev. Muriithi encouraged congregants to deepen their trust in the Lord and to seek His refuge in all seasons of life.

The vibrant service was followed by a special occasion at NICA Kavutiri, where the church and community came together to welcome home Bishop Emeritus Njeru Nyaga, marking his return to his home church after many years of selfless and dedicated service to the ministry.
“Bishop Nyaga has been a pillar of faith and leadership in our region,” said one church elder. “Today, we honor not just his journey, but his unwavering commitment to God’s work.”
The homecoming celebration was filled with heartfelt tributes, songs of praise, and thanksgiving for a life spent in faithful ministry. Leaders from across the region, fellow clergy, and faithful from different denominations joined in the event, demonstrating unity in the body of Christ.
This day served as a profound reminder of God’s faithfulness and the strength of a church rooted in love, service, and spiritual growth. As the congregants departed, the atmosphere was filled with hope, renewal, and a shared commitment to continue walking in faith.
To God be the glory.
