Hon. Gitonga Mukunji joined family, friends, and members of the community in laying to rest the late Mr. David Mukundi Njiru, popularly known as Kunyonda, at his Muconoke home in Gaturi South Ward.

Mukundi was a dedicated and hardworking individual who played a significant role in the boda boda and matatu sector, contributing immensely to the local transport industry. His diligence and commitment to serving the community earned him great respect among his peers and those who knew him.

During the emotional farewell, Hon. Mukunji offered his heartfelt condolences to the grieving family, acknowledging the immense loss they have suffered. “Mukundi was not only a hardworking man but also a pillar of the transport community. His dedication to his work and his generosity towards others will always be remembered,” he remarked.

Family members, colleagues, and friends eulogized Mukundi as a kind-hearted and selfless man who always put others before himself. Many spoke of his unwavering spirit and the impact he had on the lives of those around him.
