In a true display of compassion and leadership, Hon. Gitonga Mukunji, MP for Manyatta, visited the victims of a tragic fire that devastated Kiambuthi Estate, leaving five families homeless and destroying their belongings.

During the visit, Hon. Mukunji expressed his deepest sympathies, offering emotional, material, and financial support to help the affected families rebuild their lives. The families praised the MP for his swift response and the community’s solidarity during this challenging time.

“I want these families to know they are not alone. We will stand with them and offer all the support necessary to help them regain stability,” said Hon. Mukunji.

Acknowledging Local Heroes

Hon. Mukunji took time to commend the boda boda riders and residents of Kiambuthi Estate for their heroic efforts in containing the fire and preventing further destruction.

“Your bravery and quick action saved many homes and showed the true spirit of unity in our community. Thank you for stepping up in this time of need,” he remarked.

Hon. Mukunji assured the victims that the government and the community will continue working together to provide resources and support for rebuilding their homes and lives.

“This is a time for us to unite as a community. We will follow up to ensure the families receive the help they need and also work towards fire safety and preparedness in our neighborhoods,” he added.
